“There are two mistakes one can make along the journey to truth... not starting, and not going all the way.”

Life Purpose

Your life purpose is to live on purpose. Most people live by accident, by default. If you are asking “What is the purpose of my life?” then this is you. So become the purpose of your own life and in every moment live according to your own highest good. Choose that which serves you and lose that which doesn’t. Live life on purpose.

We often go after the things that we want in a backwards and preposterous way. We never get the full experience of that which we desire but only an unfulfilling shadow. It’s the equivalent of trying to eat your favorite sandwich with the plastic wrapper still on. Why do so many of us do the things that we do? We work jobs that we hate to make money so that later we can do the things we want. We watch sports so we can get a sense of thrill and excitement by living vicariously through our favorite athletes. We watch films in awe of the adventures and experiences of the characters while wishing we could do the same. We use social media to connect with others in a shallow and superficial way while we long for real intimacy and human connection. We eat foods that artificially taste good but are lacking in the substance and nutrition we truly crave.

None of these things are necessarily wrong or even bad, but when they become a replacement for the full realization of your true desires, you are always left feeling unsatisfied and wanting more. We become attached and addicted to these things because you can never get enough of what you do not want. We go after that which we desire and our method of doing so actually becomes the obstacle to experiencing what we desire. It is insanity. Why not just go straight for what we desire? Because we are afraid. We are afraid that we might get hurt. We are afraid that it might not work out. We are afraid that we may lose ourselves in the process.

So we continue to live a half-life using the protection of our ineffective modes to getting our needs met. It is like if we never fully experience that which we want, then we can never be fully disappointed either. We can not get the object of our deepest love and affection and then have it taken away from us. If you want a diamond but instead you just get a replica, it may not be as satisfying but at least when you lose it you won’t care as much. But what is the point of this if in the end you lose everything anyway? None of us make it out of here alive so you may as well take every chance on your dreams. Because in the end, there is nothing to lose. Nothing at all.

Surrender

To create
to breathe life
to watch a spark of potential
arise and fade away
for creation is ever-present
with it’s partner of time
the one using the other
the other consuming the one
until the potentials collapse
into the realm from which they were resurrected
and the one can begin anew
always breathing
in and out
creation and destruction
the birth and the dissolution
the divine union
of creation and time
in the very nature
of the silence and noise
the light and the darkness
the love and fear
we love the creation
the forms as they come
and fear their loss
their disappearance into the void
but this is the beauty
the union is one
in essence both must be
for their union is divine perfection
and all that arises
will come to pass
in the ever-presence of who you are

You are taken away
in the wave of perfection
of absolute bliss
in which death seems like nothing
and you are the totality of everything
even that is an understatement
for everything cannot come close
to explaining who you are
these words are meaningless
petty abstractions
distractions for the mind
you are so much more
infinitely more
and beyond the things
and the no-things
there you are
eternal
ever-present
bursting with life
a sea of divine potential
just waiting to arise

The clinging
the grasping
the seeking
yet never finding
the seemingly endless cycle
of samsara
trying to get there
and escape here
to taste the bliss
and alleviate the pain
this is suffering
this is illusion
this is mara
but what is nirvana?
the end of seeking
the ceasing of all clinging
the attachment to this
the rejection of that
is no more
all is taken in
with absolute surrender
a complete embrace
of perfect love
heaven and hell
are allowed to be
in the midst of the perfect self
who loves them just the same
so let it be
come to know the truth
of who you are
stop the doing

just be

Transcend Suffering and Achieve Lasting Happiness...TODAY!!!!

We've all had problems and struggles in this life. At least, I know I have. I've had moments where I wasn't sure if I wanted to go on. I had no clue how I would make it out of the situation that I found myself in and felt ready to just give up. But one thing differentiates people who succeed in life and overcome their problems and suffering from those who don't. And what is that? PERSISTENCE! The people who truly succeed and find lasting happiness NEVER GIVE UP! They say, I will find a way, I will do whatever it takes, or I will die trying. If you adopt this mindset, you are GUARANTEED to succeed in this life.
This is the death of all procrastination, of all excuses and feeling sorry for yourself, because when you are willing to face death, when you are willing to die for what you believe in, where is there to run? Nowhere. You have to face the inner struggle, the demons in your mind that tell you you can't do it. And you discover how truly weak and powerless those demons are in the light of your Consciousness, in the sweet embrace of the Life that you truly are.

Let Go of the Past

For too long I would lose myself in that sorrow and self-pity that only the lonely have the misfortune of indulging in, regretting missed opportunities and dwelling on the possibilities of what could have been.

Thinking if only, if only I did things differently, if only I took advantage of the opportunities I had right in front of me.

But my gnawing fear and self-consciousness blinded me. It blinded me to the fact that if I just allowed my true self, my true thoughts, and my true feelings to come through they would enable me to seize these opportunities and capture the moments that I longed for in life.

This feeling of listliss remorse gave me a sort of depressing, self-deprecating comfort as I pondered the possibilities of what could have been and imagined them in my mind's eye. I saw myself with the girl I had always dreamed of being with but never had the courage to talk to.

I saw the wonderful friendships I could have experienced if I had the audacity to break out of the shell that choked all the joy, happiness, and life out of me and replaced it with silent tension, constant worry and anxiety, and ceaseless discomfort.

And then I realized the very act of allowing myself to enter this pitiful, self-destructive state was what prevented my growth. It prevented me from learning from my mistakes and moving forward with this new-found wisdom.

I couldn't see it then, that the lies I told myself were what held me back, that the stories I made up in my head kept me caught in this paralyzing web of awkwardness, fear, and self-loathing. I now understand that these lies that I chose to believe were what disabled me and caused me to miss out on life. And I see that dwelling on these past mistakes in the present is much worse than the mistakes themselves, because it causes me to miss out on what truly matters, this moment.

The past is not reality, it is nothing more than a distant memory that is warped and changed every time it is recalled in order to correlate with a person's current beliefs and state of mind. I cannot change the past, but I can learn a valuable lesson from it and use this lesson to prevent myself from repeating these past mistakes in the present and future. I am no longer blinded by my own fear and self doubt, for I can see the truth, and that the truth alone will set you free.
